VIRAL VIDEOS | LAGOS DAY 1 EASE ON LOCK DOWN
In recent weeks, the nation has observed a spike in the number of confirmed instances. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country with some 200 million people, has recorded over 2000 cases and also 87 deaths. Lots of citizens were seen at Banks in Lagos attempting to conclude transactions while others participated in different business activities. Crowded buses, rowdy ATM points were seen on the very first day of lockdown ease in Lagos. Some locals, managed the gradual easing of the lockdown with caution. There were initially confusion among traders and workers whether they ought to open their store or leave it closure for a couple of days. Likewise with employees, whether they need to go to work, as instructed by their supervisors or remain at home. The Restrictions on interstate travel is also required, and I believe it should still be enforced, to ensure that it will certainly stop the spread between neighbouring states.
